I am enjoying my new life as freelancer very much. Responsible for everything, it gives me a sort of relaxation.
Till now I did some small projects, this week I finished a Quickr related one.
Next week I will start a new project at a Dutch insurance company. It will be a pure Java project, backend and frontend development, so lots of JSF, Maven, Jenkins, JUnit testing and other Java related technology and it gives me the opportunity to learn more about AngularJS.
I am looking forward to it. It is a good opportunity to look ones more outside the yellow bubble.
On the other hand the customer was very nice to be flexible with me, so I will be able to do also work for customers inside the yellow bubble.
Hi Frank,
Nice to hear you enjoying life as a freelancer! Good luck with the new project. What are your first experiences?
Regards, Marc
Hi Marc,
Thanks, and after 2 weeks it is even more fun. I am currently using JSF2.0, and there are some nice improvements. Also using EJB, JPA and Persistence to easily manage objects and connect them with the backend Oracle database.
